You are not pathetic, you have improved more that I've seen, you really did yourself better believe me you have just keep practicing, don't give up, you'll get there before you know it much better then before, keep drawing on
Oh it became a lot better, maybe you dont see it, but I do. For example your shading became more realistic as did your poses and anatomy. You also seem to understand clothing and wrinkles more. And your colours are also brighter and there are more details. You most definitely got better.
*shoots self too* I know what you mean...it gets frustrating sometimes DX You improved on drawing the figure, the only thing that seems a bit off in the after picture is the face. Plus the hair seems a bit too big compared to the size of that head. The only thing I can say is improvement is different for everyone but you'll get there if you keep drawing :3
It's something in the shape of Danny's face in the first one that I REALLY love. In the first, Danny's facial shape is...I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's very mature. I think he looks more like an older teen, rather than the round-ish shape of face that Danny has in the second. There's also something about Danny's pants, how they seem less fitted and baggier in the first, compared to the second where he seems to be wearing skinny jeans. I think the less fitted look matches his personality a bit better, and fits the show with great accuracy. The second version's hair is lovely though. I love the wildness of it contrasting with Vlad's perfectly, so I do prefer that hair over Danny's first design of hair. Not that I don't enjoy both versions, I just prefer the first
As for Vlad, his design is much more subtly changed. But I definitely think he's changed for the better. His suit is more realistic and refined, and the red back light is intriguing. I like it very much, and it fits him. I noticed that his collar is larger and more raised, insinuating to his Plasmius form, which I applaud. The definition of his hair in the first was nicely done, and made me think of a comic, but the smoothness in this one is much superior. I'm not sure if the lighting is just different, or you did it on purpose, but I think Vlad is a bit paler in the second, and I personally adore it. It fits him well, considering the man is almost NEVER outside. .
Now that you have my extensive critique, I'd like to say that although I do have a preference, both are well beyond MY skill range, and I enjoy viewing them
Oh... yeah, maybe. Well, that just because I always draw legs a bit too massive, and that look not very nice, so for this picture I was try to balance his legs to more thine type, but make them a little too thin! ^_^' But thank you I will remember not make his legs too thin too! ^w^
Well thank you for such a lovely comment! ^w^ But that's not enough. I wanna be able to draw EXACTLY what I see in to my mind. I wanna be able to draw ANYTHING from peoples to mechas! So I need some new training method.
Well, maybe, but there is nothing more where I can feel myself that miserable. But that may be PMS, well, at last I'm in whiny, and not in violent mood. That fine too! Thank you so much honey! Your comments make me feel better!
Hey no problem. I too once had such anti-my-own-art-and-skill moods, it is practically scray lol Happens sometimes. And no problem. Keep up with the great art of yours! I particularly love the DP one, but everything else is great, too. I am just a huge fan of your DP fan art: you make everything look awesome in your style!
